Test your pool or spa water with the help of a classic liquid test kit. 2. Record the chlorine reading level as you need it. 3. No adjustment is required for pH HOW TO FIND CHLORINE TEST ADJUSTMENT POINT: 1. Insert 1 x 1.5V AA battery into the handle compartment. 2. Hold the tester with one hand and the probe with the other. 3. Insert the clean metal probes into the water until the black band. 4. Slightly mix water with the probe. 5. With the probe always submerged in water, turn the wheel completely left in the direction of "CL". Slowly rotate the wheel to the right until the needle reaches the chlorine level recorded with the liquid tester (eg: 1.5ppm) 6. Remove probes from water without touching the wheel. The indicator will move completely towards the right and will stop on a letter between A and E. This letter is your "point of adjustment". Note: Every time you use this tester to test the chlorine level you need to set the "adjustment point" before testing.
