About this item
- Elegant Double Blooming Poppies: Create a soft, romantic garden display with these stunning Shirley Double Mix poppies. Featuring delicate, layered petals in shades of pink, white, and red, they bring a graceful, airy charm to any planting scheme. SEEDS: 4g Approx.
- Perfect for Cottage Gardens & Borders: These classic annual poppies grow to around 60cm tall, producing upright stems and gently swaying blooms that are perfect for borders, beds, and naturalistic wildflower-style gardens.
- Beautiful Cut Flowers for Indoor Displays: The large, cup-shaped double flowers make excellent cut blooms, adding a soft, vintage feel to floral arrangements and bouquets.
- Sowing & Growing Information: Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to May or August to October onto finely prepared, well-drained soil. Scatter seeds thinly on the surface and lightly press into the soil without covering, as poppies prefer light for germination. Keep soil moist during early growth. Choose a sunny position for best flowering performance. Plants will grow to approximately 60cm tall and bloom from May to August, producing a long-lasting and colourful summer display. Avoid transplanting as poppies prefer to be direct sown.
- Easy to Grow & Low Maintenance: An ideal choice for beginner gardeners, these hardy annuals require minimal care and thrive in most well-drained soils, rewarding you with abundant blooms.
- Seed Quality: Produced by a historic Italian seed house with over 240 years of excellence. Seeds are packed in protective, recyclable packets to preserve freshness and germination quality – bringing authentic Italian growing to your garden.
