Our double-sided butyl tape is suitable for sealing even surfaces but it also follows the shape of and seals rough, irregular surfaces with ease. The Poppstar Butyl Rubber Tape has a wide scope of applications: In the roof building and structural facings sector for sealing winter gardens, conservatories, various kinds of windows and windowsills, roof penetrations and rain pipes. It also works well as a sealant / sealing strip for interstices, joints, seams, wall and floor mountings, in the area of metal construction and tool building, for sanitary and electrical installations as well as in air-conditioning technology, vehicle and ship construction, for furniture and interior work and similar applications. Our double-sided butyl tape is self-adhesive and easy to handle. It is weatherproof, waterproof, flexible and easily malleable. It flexibly adapts to all surfaces (such as roof penetrations) and can be used to seal materials such as glass, plastic and metal. It is resistant to UV rays and permanently plastic. Three types of butyl tape are available: one-sided adhesive tape with aluminium coating, double-sided tape and butyl round cord. Application Clean the surface you would like to seal or repair (ensure it is dry before application). Measure the tape and cut it to the desired length (Important: Allow for potentially necessary overlapping). Remove the protective film, place the tape on the element to be repaired and press down the tape (using a roller or similar device).
