Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants. 2. Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper and wipe off any dust. 3. Apply the varnish using a synthetic varnish brush, following the grain of the wood. 4. Allow the first coat to dry for 30 minutes. 5. Apply a second coat, following the same technique. 6. Allow the second coat to dry for 4 hours before applying a third coat for optimal durability. 7. Allow the varnish to fully cure for 5-7 days before exposing it to heavy use or weather conditions. 8.
