PolarPro Quartzline ND16 filter 82 mm The PolarPro Quartzline ND16 filter is a high quality medium neutral density grey filter. You use this filter to remove an excessive amount (4 f/stops) of light. This gives you the opportunity to shoot with slower shutter speeds for the famous cinematic effect, but also to find a perfect exposure balance during a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Extremely neutral colour reproduction Characteristic of the PolarPro Quartzline filters is the perfect colour neutrality. Where other filters tend to have a slightly magenta or greenish tint, the Quartzline filters hardly show any colour difference compared to reality. High quality Quartzline lens All filters from the PolarPro Quartzline series are made of 99.9% pure quartz glass, which ensures unprecedented durability and clarity. The glass element has a very low refractive index of only 1.46, so there is no loss of sharpness when using this filter. In addition, quartz glass is extremely temperature resistant and is perfectly suited to sensors up to 100 megapixels.
