PolarPro Vario VND 6/9 stops Peter McKinnon Signature Edition II 67mm PolarPro's Variable ND filter corrects 6 to 9 stops of light. This high quality VND filter is for camera lenses with a 67mm thread. The filter is made in collaboration with the famous videographer Peter McKinnon. Vario ND Signature Edition II With a variable ND filter you have full control of the shutter speed under all light conditions. It also allows you to maintain a smooth frame rate in slow motion during video recording, for example. The four possible settings correct the light by 6 to 9 stops. This is equivalent to a ND64 to ND512 grey filter. This VND filter is ideal for filming in bright weather with apertures such as f1.4 - f2.8. It also allows you to shoot in LOG format with ISO values above 400. The gold perfection The filter is made of two parts PolarPro CinemaSeries glass that you can rotate over each other to let the desired amount of light fall on your lens. The high quality glass provides great optical quality and is completely colour neutral. The gold-coloured aluminium mount has a laser-engraved stop indicator, so you can read exactly how many f-stops of light are stopped by the filter. When adjusting the ring to one of four settings, you feel a soft click at each stop. This haptic perception allows you to feel with your fingers that the filter has reached a different stop. This allows you to adjust the filter without taking your eyes off the camera's view finder. It also eliminates cross-polarization and vignetting, even at 16mm focal lengths. Defender360 - no fingerprints on your glass PolarPro's vario ND filters come in a Defender360 case which can also serve as a lens cap. Because of the special lens cap you won't get fingerprints on the filter when you turn it on your lens. With the protective case you never have to touch the glass of the filter. The eco-friendly packaging of the Signature Edition II also includes a microfibre cleaning cloth in case you accidentally touch the glass.
