- SOW: January to June, FLOWERS: June to August, HEIGHT: 60cm, SPREAD: 30cm, SEEDS: 500 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - January to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 20℃. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart in trays of compost. Grow on at approx. 15℃. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position from summer onwards. FLOWERS – June to August, the following year.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - May to June. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. CARE - When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position from September to October. FLOWERS – June to August, the following year.
- TIP: Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
