Product description
Plasticard is a hard plastic, it's industrial name is High Impact Polystyrene Sheet (this is NOT expanded polystyrene). UK modellers know it as plasticard, in the US as styrene sheet. The same material is normally used for injection moulded plastic kits. Flexibility depends on the thickness, the thickest sheets are quite rigid, the thinnest (0.25mm) are more like paper. For the very thin sheets it can be cut right through with a sharp craft knife or scalpel. Thinner sheets can also be cut with scissors but this is not recommended where accuracy is needed. Otherwise the easiest way to cut styrene is by scoring it with a sharp modelling knife or scalpel, then bend it along the score, it should break cleanly. Plasticard can be glued with polystyrene cement or any of the solvents used for the assembly of plastic kits. USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. It can be painted with any of the paints that are marketed for plastic kits. To permanently bend it, tape it to a curved surface then steam over the kettle or soak in hot water. Plasticard is a thermoplastic so can be vacuum formed, the sag temperature is about 80ยฐC. DO NOT try to print onto plasticard. If fed into a laser printer it will melt, destroy the printer & produce toxic fumes. If an inkjet is used the ink will not dry. DO NOT use in high temperate applications, including lampshades as it will melt, producing toxic fumes & cause a fire risk.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days โ so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
