Plantalaya Orchid Bark 8–15mm – Chunky Natural Bark for Orchids & Houseplants – Free Draining Potting Substrate for Root Aeration – Growing Media for Phalaenopsis, Aroids & Indoor Plants - 2.5 Litres

• 🌲 8–15MM CHUNKY BARK GRADE – Carefully graded to approximately 8–15mm, providing substantial bark pieces that create an open, structured growing medium with plenty of space around plant roots.
• 🌬️ ENCOURAGES ROOT AIRFLOW – The coarse bark structure creates air pockets throughout the pot, helping provide the well-aerated root environment preferred by orchids and many tropical plants.
• 💧 FAST & FREE DRAINING – The 8–15mm pieces allow water to move freely through the pot while the natural bark retains some moisture, helping achieve a useful balance between drainage and hydration.
• 🌸 IDEAL FOR ORCHIDS – Excellent for Phalaenopsis and many other orchids that prefer a coarse, open growing medium rather than dense conventional compost.
• 🪴 PERFECT FOR AROIDS & HOUSEPLANTS – Mix into Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium and other specialist houseplant substrates to add chunky structure and improve drainage and airflow.

Plantalaya Orchid Bark is a chunky, natural bark substrate specially formulated to meet the needs of orchids and a wide range of houseplants. Designed to promote excellent drainage and superior root airflow, this growing media helps prevent waterlogging and root rot — two of the most common challenges faced by indoor plant enthusiasts. The coarse, open texture mimics the natural growing conditions of epiphytic plants, making it particularly well-suited for Phalaenopsis orchids, aroids, and other tropical indoor plants. Whether you are repotting an established orchid or setting up the ideal growing environment for your aroids, this bark provides the airy, free-draining structure that roots thrive in. Simply use it as a standalone potting substrate or blend it with other growing media to customise the mix to your plant's specific requirements. Suitable for both beginners and experienced growers, Plantalaya Orchid Bark is a reliable choice for anyone looking to give their indoor plants the best possible growing conditions.
