Product description Sunmaster cool deluxe grow lamps emit light from 5000° to 6500° Kelvin, imitating the natural look of daylight. They are an ideal light source for the seedling and vegetative stages of plant growth, while still emitting a wide spectral distribution. Sunmaster Deluxe Lamps surpass many other hid sources in par watts-the most objective measurement of total light energy available for photosynthesis. A metal halide lamp will help to promote fast, leafy, green growth during your plants vegetative cycle. This coupled with their intensity and energy efficiency, makes them ideal for indoor gardening. The lamp only produces light in the blue part of the spectrum for fast vegetative growth and short internodes. As no orange/red light is produced this lamp is not suitable for heavy flowering. Please be aware that all lamps loose there lumen output after a period of 9/12 months. As a rule of thumb we recommend that lamps are then replaced to ensure you keep your crop yields to the maxium. Once the lamp is switched on it runs extremely hot. As with all high pressure sodium and metal halide bulbs it is necessary to avoid touching the lamp with anything such as fingers or plants as this may cause severe burns or fires.
