Planet Earth DVD Game

Educational, family-friendly trivia game based on the BBC's blockbuster five-part documentary, Planet Earth. Question topics range from wildlife, geology and earth science, and geology to the environment, biology, and weather. In the Imagination Entertainment Ltd. version, players answer the questions cooperatively in attempt to win prizes. The prizes are puzzle pieces, which are supposed to represent important clues that are key to solving global warming, deforestation, overpopulation, and other grave challenges threatening the planet. The Alga (Brio) version is competitive, and players answer questions secretly using chits. The question category is chosen using a spinner and there are no puzzle pieces - player points are simply recorded on the board using pawns. Ages 8 and up.
