Product description pH Plus Increaser 500g – pH Up Granules for Hot Tubs, Spas, Swimming Pools & Paddling Pools Raise low pH fast and keep your hot tub, spa or pool water perfectly balanced with our fast-dissolving pH increaser granules. This pH plus treatment quickly raises low pH levels, correcting acidic water and restoring your water to the ideal range of 7.2–7.6. Why Balanced pH Matters Low pH makes water acidic and corrosive – irritating skin and eyes, damaging pumps, heaters, seals and liners, and stopping your chlorine or bromine sanitiser working efficiently. Raising pH with our pH up granules protects your spa equipment, improves bather comfort and keeps water crystal clear in your jacuzzi, whirlpool or swim spa. Instructions 1. Use a good quality test kit or test strips to determine the pH reading. 2. If pH is below 7.2, add 10g per 1000lts of Spa and Hot Tub water, sprinkling product directly to the water with circulation on. This application will raise the pH by approximately 0.2. 3. Only make one addition of pH Increaser at a time and always re-test the water. Should a further addition be required, repeat the dose. 4. Always re-test the water after each application and keep pH between 7.2 and 7.6 for best results. Suitable For Hot tubs, inflatable spas, swimming pools, above ground pools, paddling pools, jacuzzis, whirlpools and swim spas. Compatible with chlorine and bromine treated water. What You Get 1 x 500g tub of pH plus increaser granules in a resealable, easy-pour container with a child-resistant press-down safety lid, so the tub cannot be opened by simply twisting. Full dosing instructions printed on the label. Safety Information Supplied with a child-resistant press-down closure – push down firmly and twist to open. Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Never mix pool chemicals together. Always read the label and follow dosing instructions. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Directions 1. Use a good quality test kit to determine the pH and/or the Total Alkalinity reading. 2. To reduce pH reading add 10g per 1000lts of Spa and Hot Tub water, sprinkling product directly to the water with circulation on. This application will lower the pH by approximately 0.2. 3. Only make one addition of pH and Alkalinity Reducer at a time and always re-test the water. Should a further addition be required, please follow step 1 again. 4. To reduce Total Alkalinity add 15g per 1000lts of Spa and Hot Tub water with circulation on. Add product to the deepest point of the Spa/Hot Tub in one application. This application will lower the Total Alkalinity by approximately 10–20ppm (mg/l). 5. Always re-test the water after each application. Safety Warning Causes serious eye damage.
