These wooden pan pipes feature a decorative leaf pattern on the pipes and have a varnished finish, they are played by blowing across the top of the note to create a haunting, flute like sound. Many people believe that pan pipes are thought to have originated in the high Andes, where their sound would echo the godโs whistling in the high mountain passes. This set measures 20cm (L) x 12cm (W) | 8 inches (L) x 5 inches (W) and have 8 separate pipes The Panpipes are decorated with a leaf pattern on the pipes, this set of Pipes produces a soothing haunting sound. Did you know that the pan flute is named after Pan, the Greek god of nature and shepherds often depicted with such an instrument.
