Persicaria bistorta 'Superba' is a resilient and attractive perennial that brings long-lasting colour and texture to the garden. A traditional cottage garden favourite, it produces masses of pale pink, bottlebrush-like flower spikes from midsummer to September. These delicate blooms rise gracefully above a carpet of lush, semi-evergreen foliage, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. This knotweed variety is known for its spreading habit, creating superb ground cover with minimal care. Tolerant of a wide range of soil types and growing conditions, it thrives in everything from damp pond margins to ordinary garden borders.
