Product description
Manufacturer's Description Hard mallets are an essential part of every timpanist's arsenal and are particularly useful when clarity is key such as when the music calls for fast, complicated, or melodic playing. They can of course also be used with other percussion instruments to create interesting effects. These kettle drum beaters are made to the classic design with a turned cork core wrapped in a relatively thin layer of felt. Their lightweight untapered shafts are made from a well balanced varnished wawa wood dowel. This listing is for a packet of 2 beaters only (1 pair). Every pair of Percussion Plus beaters is made in the renowned Leicestershire workshop by our team of experienced craftsmen. You simply won't find better quality for the price! We cater for players of any standard, and the versatile range of beaters, mallets, and sticks we offer includes the perfect match for any percussion instrument you can think of. The clarity of the sound these sticks produce, is what makes these sticks highly versatile. Each one has a well-balanced wooden shaft and features a hard red felt-wrapped head. Sold as a pair. I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
