Peach ‘Avalon Pride’ is a unique and hardy peach tree, originally discovered as a chance seedling in Washington State. Loved for its deliciously juicy fruits and stunning pink flowers, it offers UK gardeners the chance to enjoy home-grown peaches without the worry of Peach Leaf Curl, a common disease affecting most other varieties. Its resilience and excellent fruit quality make it a standout choice for both beginners and experienced gardeners. This self-fertile variety thrives in rich, well-drained soil and prefers a sunny, sheltered position. Whether trained as a bush or fan against a wall, ‘Avalon Pride’ is straightforward to cultivate and delivers consistent yields. With estimated cropping beginning after two years and peak yields after four, this peach tree promises a rewarding addition to any garden.
