- Characteristics: Semi-evergreen climber, purple flowers in summer, orange-yellow fruit in autumn/winter, climber, fast growing, easy care, attracts bees, good choice for fences, walls and trellises
- Plant advice: Your Passion Flower will thrive in a position that benefits from full sun or dappled shade, in a moist but well-drained soil, preferably Chalk, Clay, Loam or a Sand type. Fairly tolerant in terms of pH, but it is good to aim for a level of around 6.5-7.5.
- Prune in early spring if necessary to maintain size and shape. Plant in May – September. May need protection from frosty winds in the cold north climates, will do well on a warm and sheltered wall.
