Only the Persian artists of Safavid Dynasty (1501-1722) were able to produce the masterpiece of book binding art that inspired this cover. The original, supposedly commissioned by an artisan Safavid Prince from Shoulra's 18 Month Flexi Teacher Calendar for the year 2021, was made of black goatskin leather that was embossed, gold-plated, hand painted and covered with fine gold filigree.
