Product description

Pak Choi ‘Goku’ F1 is a premium, fast-growing Asian green bred for exceptional reliability and slow bolting performance. Producing crisp, tender leaves and compact heads, it bulks up quickly while maintaining excellent flavour and texture over an extended harvest window. Ideal for spring, summer, and overwintered cropping, it performs particularly well in polytunnels and greenhouses where it can provide fresh greens year-round. This versatile variety is perfect for baby leaf harvests or full-sized plants, giving growers flexibility from as little as 30 days after sowing. Its tolerance to cooler temperatures and resistance to bolting make it a dependable choice for UK growing conditions, ensuring consistent, high-quality harvests across multiple sowings. Approximate height and spread: 25cm (10in). How to Grow Sow: Sow outdoors from March to July at 12mm depth in rows spaced 38cm apart. Light: Full sun or partial shade. Temperature: Hardy annual; tolerates cool conditions and can be grown overwinter in protected environments. Watering: Keep soil consistently moist to prevent bolting and ensure good flavour. Feeding: Enrich soil with organic matter before sowing; light feeding during growth improves yield. Maintenance: Thin seedlings to 10cm for baby leaf, 20cm for young plants, or 30cm for full heads. Harvest regularly to encourage continuous production. 1 Packet (50 Seeds) Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
