About this item
- The bias binding fits completely into the finishes of a garment. It can also have an aesthetic or fancy objective but this one will generally be secondary. The advantage of the bias is that it is flexible, and therefore follows the curves and rounds of a work without any problems without stiffening it or making gathers.
- The bias can be placed to finish the neckline or armhole of a garment, be placed around a bib, a bath blanket, a kitchen apron... it can finish the edges of the interior trimming of a garment for a chic effect or even border margins of seams inside a coat so that it is as beautiful inside as it is outside; this is called banding a skirt or trouser hem.
- This set consists of 6 sheets of 5 metres - colours: yellow, coral, intense pink, fuchsia, red and purple - 5 metres per colour, 30 metres in total - width 18 mm folded - then 35 mm open
- Please note: the bias does not pre-wash before sewing. It is sold ready to use. On the other hand, what you can always do is steam iron to remove manufacturing primers. It will then be more flexible, easy to place and sew. It is better to sew it in 2 steps, I have concocted a small tutorial for you that you will find in the pictures.
