Product description
Carriage bolts are also known as coach bolts or round head square neck bolts. The upper surface of the carriage bolt head is non slotted and rounded, curving slightly outwards. Thus, the head sits flat on the material. This reduces the risk of injury in the fastened state. Directly under the head is a square profile for fixing in place. The counter profile is worked into the workpiece and the carriage bolt is protected against twisting during assembly. The bolt has a metric full thread at the base. To fasten the carriage bolt, a matching nut is simply screwed onto the thread. Examples of use: Mechanical engineering. Scaffolding and play areas. Fences and privacy walls. Carports.
