Product Description Otrivine Adult Nasal Spray is for application in the nose to give relief from: nasal congestion (blocked nose, including colds), perennial and allergic rhinitis (recurring inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay fever)and sinusitis. Otrivine Adult Nasal Spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride which helps to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and reduces swollen blood vessels to their normal size. Otrivine Nasal Spray helps unblock your nose in 2 minutes, and lasts for up to 10 hours. Adults, children over 12 years and the elderly: One application in each nostril 2 or 3 times daily. Route of administration: Nasal use. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days. Otrivine Adult Nasal Spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride. Always read the label. Ingredients Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% Directions Instructions: 1. Clear your nose. 2. Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into a nostril. 3. Squeeze the bottle once and sniff at the same time. 4. Remove the nozzle before releasing the pressure on the bottle. 5. Repeat for the other nostril. 6. Clean and dry the Nozzle. We would suggest that you try not to blow your nose for the first few minutes allowing the medicine to get to work. Do not use continuously for more than 7 consecutive days.
