Ensure the clippers are compatible with the Oster Skip Tooth Detachable Blade, Size 7. 2. Turn off and unplug the clippers. 3. Detach the existing blade from the clippers, following the clipper manufacturer's instructions. 4. Attach the Oster Skip Tooth Detachable Blade, Size 7 to the clippers, following the clipper manufacturer's instructions. 5. Plug in the clippers and turn them on. 6. Use the clippers with the Oster Skip Tooth Detachable Blade, Size 7 to remove matted or heavy, coarse coats, cutting to a length of 1/8 inch (3.2mm). 7. For heavy mats, apply gentle pressure and move the clippers slowly against the direction of the hair growth.
