Product description Decorative, satin protective wood finish based on oils for any exterior wood. Microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, extremely weather-resistant and UV-stable surface does not crack, peel, flake or blister. No sanding necessary, just simply recoat; no primer is needed. Easy and seamless application. Finish stays workable while coatingRecommended use: Osmo Decking-Oils protect and maintain wooden decking, garden furniture and screens made of numerous coniferous and fine woods, e.g. pressure impregnated Pine, Douglas Fir, Cedar, Oak or Bangkirai also suitable as a transparent coloured treatment of Teak, Eucalyptus and fine woods. Ingredients: Based on natural vegetable oils (sunflower-oil, soyabean-oil, thistle-oil, linseed-oil), siccatives (drying agents) and additives. Disaromatised white spirit (benzene-free). This product fulfils EU-Regulation (2004/42/EC) according to the VOC limit value max. 500 g/l (Cat. A/i (2010). Detailed declaration of ingredients available upon request. Preparation: Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisturecontent max. 20%).Osmo Decking-Oil is ready to use, please do not thin. Stir well before use. Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding works. If possible, please apply base coat to all sides before installation. Hardwood with a high content of natural wood ingredients (e.g. Massaranduba, Bangkirai, Teak, Garapa) needs to weather off for at least 4 weeks or to be cleaned with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner (degreaser). Resinous wood (e.g. Larch or Douglas Fir) needs to weather off for at least 6 weeks, and pressure-impregnated wood needs to weather of Directions Clean and dry wood surface, stir well, apply base coat to all sides before installation.
