EN397 Standard Requirements BREAKAWAY CHIN STRAP According to the requirements of EN397 standard, the chin strap of W1000 helmet is "BREAKAWAY CHIN STRAP" Chin straps of the W1000 safety helmet are compliant with European EN397 standard, helping to better secure the helmet while posing zero hazards to the wearer. According to testing methods provided in European standards, an increasing force shall be applied to the chinstrap until it loosens or breaks.
