• Reflexite V99 School Bus Microprismatic Conspicuity Tape is for school buses in the United States and Canada which are required to have conspicuity tape outlining the emergency exits, windows, hatches and in many cases striping the entire sides or perimeters of the buses.
• The tape comes in a specially formulated school bus yellow color and is a tough weather and solvent-resistant product designed for rugged outdoor use on the sides, rear, and exit points of school buses. It is easy to apply to smooth surfaces or to surfaces where tape must be cut around rivets and other design features. The adhesive is designed to adhere to a variety of surfaces including fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and painted metal.
• The reflective material used for Reflexite V99 is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a thin, flexible, smooth-surfaced, tough and weather-resistant UV-stabilized polyester film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposit of aluminum to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting tape is not more than .008 inches thick and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive.
• Reflexite V99 School Bus Microprismatic Conspicuity Tape is compliant with the FMVSS 131 and 217 specifications, has a 5-year warranty and is excellent for retrofitting existing school bus fleets. The white lines in the pattern provide maximum daytime visibility and this tape will maintain reflectivity after impact. Please note that V99 rolls are typically shipped on a plain neutral core or an ISC Racers Tape branded core.
