The streets of every major U.S. city bleed red with chaos. Pro-cybernetic augmentation groups clash violently with religious purists in the streets daily. The police force that is now predominantly made up of androids is failing it’s own population. Thus far the violence has been confined to the cities. Until now. In the sleepy town of Little Falls where nothing ever happens, private detective Sam Mason receives his first real case in years, the attempted suicide of the town’s reverend. Peeling back the layers of the incident, Sam uncovers ties that link the reverend to a series of murders taking place in the cities, and directly to Aspire Innovations, the global leader in cybernetic enhancements, but more disturbingly the company behind the android protectors on the streets. As he attempts to bring the guilty party to justice Sam becomes the hunted in a chase that will force him to face the demons of a past he has tried for so long to forget.
