• Ensure the on/off switch on the back of the product is set to the “ON” position before mounting. If using one immersion element add a link between the off-peak and boost terminals using a solid copper core that is rated to carry at least 13 Amps. Also, check that the immersion element you are trying to switch is functioning by checking its resistance using an ohm meter. If unsure how to do this, employ the services of an electrician.

OP-ECOSAVE is a mechanical quartz multi-tariff time switch used to control 3Kw electric immersion heater elements for the timing of water heating during low tariff electricity supply periods. It is suitable for single / dual or twin immersion heater applications as well as combination storage & convector heaters. This comes fully equipped with an adjustable boost function for 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes for peak tariff periods. It is programmable for 24 hour operation with a program able to be set every 15 minutes and comes with a 72 hour running reserve so you don't have to re-program after power cuts. The time switch comes with a separate wiring base to make easy installation and fixing to the wall as this is a surface mounted device. User friendly indicator lights are pre-installed to display On, Peak and Boost outputs. A manual On / Off override switch is also pre-installed so you don't have to change your pre-set programs. This timer has a contact rating of 16 Amperes and falls under the IP20 protection category. Running voltage of 220-240V AC 50Hz.
