Wonderful co-op debut from Australian RUSTY PINTO with Dutch scene veteran CC JEROME on RHYTHM BOMB. JEROME VAN GASTEREN aka CC JEROME has been a luminary of roots styles between 40's and 60's for over 20 years. The accomplished guitarist and singer lived in London and the USA for years, has played in the live bands of numerous scene greats such as Lee Rocker, as well as with the SPECIALS as well as with world stars such as Chuck Berry. His own bands such as THE BELLHOPS, THE RANCH GIRLS, THE RAGTIME WRANGLERS or THE JETSETTERS are among the genre topacts in his home. The quintet CC JEROME & THE SAVOYS was originally launched as a backing band for the US rhythm'n'blues miracle NIKKI HILL. On 'One More Time', this cast meets with wonderful 50's R`n'B songs as straight from the specialty era with the Melbourne singer RUSTY PINTO (RUSTY AND THE DRAGSTRIP TRIO), who in turn already paid homage to this style with the RUSTY PINTO COMBO. A true highlight of the contemporary interpretation of this style - it can be danced!
