With our RHB-32ATC refractometer, you can quickly and accurately determine the sugar content in fruits, grapes, vegetables, fruits, lemonades and translucent fruit juices. Also the water content of emulsions, e.g. drilling emulsions, cutting oils or cooling lubricants. The hand refractometer offered offers maximum precision and ease of use due to the integrated automatic temperature compensation system (ATC). At a glance, you can read water content or sugar content. It is made in a very stable design with plastic housing and plastic-coated handle. The device achieves a high accuracy of ± 0.2%. Example of use: measurement: Before each measuring process, you should carefully clean the hinged lid and the prism and then let it dry. After that, put 1-2 drops of the sample on the prism, when closing the hinged lid, the sample spreads evenly between the lid and the prism. The sample can be given e.g. with the pipette to the main prism. Make sure that there are no air bubbles. This would negatively affect the measurement result. By moving the hinged lid, the sample liquid can be distributed evenly. Now hold the refractometer against bright daylight to see the scale through the eyepiece. The desired value can now be read directly. Please carefully clean and dry the device after each measurement process, so that there are no deposits on the prism and the lid.
