Product description The ABC of algae control. PondClear binds suspended algae (green water) and turbidities, such as clay particles, potting soil or other organic suspended matter. PondClear floculates these turbidity-causing particles. They can be removed more easily, for example, with the PondoVac pond vacuum, a close-mesh net or the filter system. In addition, the algae nutrient, phosphate, is reduced at the same time. Dosage: 100ml of PondClear is adequate for 2000 litres of pond water. Mix the required quantity with 10 litres of tap waterand ditribute over the surface of the pond using a spray attachment. Clean with filter before and after use. Skim off the resulting flocculation as otherwise there may not be an adequate supply of oxygen. If there is no effect, increase the dosage by 50% to 100%. A pH value of between 6.5 and 9.5 (QuickSticks) and a carbonate hardness 3 dKH are required for safe application. Immerse the test strips provided briefly, shake lightly and read after one minute. Mix the required quantity of Oase PondClear with 10 litres of tap water and distribute over the surface of the pond. 2. Clean the filter before and after use, skim off the resulting flocculation. 3. Add Oase OptiPond before and after use at KH <3°dKH. 4. Verify sensitivity of fish in a separate container if there is evidence of nitrite or in doubt. 5. Replace 50% of the water, filter using activated carbon and ensure adequate aeration if fish demonstrate intolerance. 6. Further applications are possible if turbidity recurs, but at the earliest after seven days.
