Oak Barrel Lids/Tops/Heads from Whisky Bourbon Wine and Port Barrels/Casks

Oak Barrel Lids from used Wine and Bourbon Whisky barrels Barrel heads are made from white oak. On the back of the head you may see evidence of charring from the whiskey making process. These heads may still smell like bourbon when you receive them. These barrel heads have not been cleaned. Some may have colourful markings on them – these markings are almost always chalk and can be either sealed with polyurethane to retain the original marking – or easily removed with water and a cloth Excellent for decorative use at your home or place of business. Can be used as a platter, lazy susan, create a clock, wall hanging, small table top, etc They range in size between 50 cm – 60cm and are selected at random. ****Please note that the oak boards that make up the barrel head are held together with tongue and groove or dowel construction. Disassembly of the slats and cleaning of the barrel heads is recommended prior to display. Barrel heads may come apart in shipping – this is normal and expected but we will pack them securely to try and prevent this. This listing is for ONE lid.
