Which is what we did with this industry-first Steady Sliding Double Duo Back Rest. We have designed this versatile back rest not only to precisely position one or two rods, but also to allow you to move your rod slightly to release, or increase the tension on your rod tip, without moving the feeder. You can fix the rest with the universal screw-fitting under the butt grip, or you can leave it loose so you can constantly adjust, according to the circumstances. The butt grips are designed to hold rods with varying handle diameters. The duo-level allows rods to be loosely positioned in the top or pushed downward into the base for extra grip. The soft grip material allows the rods to be held firmly in place when needed, while still allowing a quick release of the rods when you get a bite or when you need to cast again.
