Product Description Mothers can be enormously helped by breastfeeding aids such as breast pumps. The NUK Luna Electric breast pump is particularly efficient and comfortable at expressing precious breast milk. Luna also features a super soft silicone cushion, textured for a pleasant massaging sensation and ideally moulds to the breast. Simple but sturdy design. High expressing action due to a two phase rhythm which simulates a baby's natural suction when breastfeeding. Fully adjustable suction strength for particularly gentle expressing. Can be operated with just one hand and is easy to clean. NOTE:Firstly the basics: check to make sure that if you’re using it in battery mode the batteries are correctly fitted and have sufficient life in them. If you’re using it in mains mode then make sure the plug and mains adapter are correctly inserted. Try adjusting the suction strength controller by moving it in the “+” direction to achieve optimum suction strength. If you’re still having problems then check to make sure that the lip valve is correctly positioned, if it is damaged then use the replacement lip valve supplied, also check that the silicone cushion is correctly fitted, it should be flush with the breast shield, and the connection ring has been tightened. When you use it always make sure you hold it upright; if you’re using it at an angle it will switch off automatically. Also make sure the breast milk container isn’t full, if it is then replace with a new container and finally ensure that the breast shield is completely flush with your breast.
