Ideal for use at home to take temperature of children or adults via the ear or forehead. The ear is an excellent site to measure temperature as the eardrum shares blood supply with the temperature control center in the brain, therefore temperature changes are reflected more quickly and accurately than at other sites. Includes a large LCD screen and high quality voice and speaker, making the product ideal for everybody including those with visual impairments. The washable sensor tip is capable of measuring both ear and forehead temperature in two seconds and is clinically accurate. The measuring range is 32°C to 42.9°C, with 0.2°C accuracy from 36°C to 42°C. Stores up to 20 readings. The thermometer also features room temperature display, "HI" or "LO" indicators to highlight abnormal readings, real time clock and calendar display.
