Dycem is a non-slip material that grips on both sides to prevent movement without sticking to the surface on which it is used. Solves many of the stabilisation and gripping problems encountered by those with limited dexterity, restricted mobility or reduced wrist and upper limb strength. Ideal for general use at home, work, school or in therapy activities. Dycem can assist with eating, food preparation, writing, drawing and play. Ideal for: holding mixing bowls and chopping boards in place in the kitchen; holding plates, cups and glasses in place on trays or tables; stabilising any household item or appliance to a surface e.g. telephone, keyboard; providing a stable base for educational activities, crafts and hobbies; creating a non-slip surface on seats, handles of mobility aids and wheelchairs.
