Product Description This plastic tray is designed for use by a carer washing a person's hair over a sink. It's ideal to use if a person is in a wheelchair or needs to sit down to have their hair washed. It's easier and more comfortable than washing hair over a bath, for both the carer and person having their hair washed. Its use reduces the need to bend and strain for both people. The tray rests comfortably on the person's shoulders for easy shampooing whilst they are in an upright position. It features a unique flexible rubber edging that surrounds the tray and neck opening to provide superior comfort and prevent slipping. The raised edge prevents water from spilling over and contoured sides support the neck. It is supplied in black with a white cotton strap that secures the tray in place using a hook and loop fastener. The tray measures 21 centimetres wide (8.5 inches), 5 centimetres in depth (2 inches) and weighs 175 grams (6 ounces). It's compact, lightweight and therefore portable enough to take with you when travelling.
