For people who find moving sideways out of a car or wheelchair difficult, the auto slide offers an easy solution. It consists of two sections with surfaces that slide against each other. Simple to fit, it fastens securely to the backs of a car seats so the person cannot slide forward. The person can sit on the AutoSlide on the car seat and then easily lift/turn the legs into the car while gliding all the way back onto the seat. A caregiver can assist from the driver’s side of the car by pulling on the robust handles on the sides of the AutoSlide (from the driver’s side). Soft, padded top is comfortable to sit on.
