This listing is for 1 x stick approximately 15g and 80mm (just over 3 inches) long. This wax has the advantage of being usable without melting and not being subject to shrinkage. It can be used to fill cracks, joints, nail and woodworm holes etc., in furniture, wooden frames, beams, parquet floors, wood veneering or any other woodwork. To use as a filler, shave off a small piece and work in the fingers until it is soft enough to press into the crack or hole using a putty knife or similar tool. The stick should become slightly softer if kept at room temperature for a few hours before use. A closer colour match can sometimes be achieved by mixing colours. When in doubt, in our opinion choose a colour shade slightly lighter then the wood being filled, this can make the repair less obvious. The stick is packed in a padded envelope with guidance notes.
