Use it to seal roofing felt laps on the underside, as a bitumen cold joint sealer on overlaps, or as a roof repair sealant on worn edges and joints. It even bonds decorative mineral chippings to bituminous surfaces for a neat, professional finish. Application is simple. Brush, mop or squeegee onto a clean, dry, frost-free surface, allow 15 to 45 minutes until tacky, then place the felt and roll down firmly to push out air. Coverage is approximately 0.6 to 0.8 litres per square metre for felt bonding. For dusty or porous surfaces such as concrete, prime first with NJL Bitumen Primer for enhanced adhesion.
