Nexcare Tegaderm + Pad Transparent Dressing are all-in-one wound care coverings that use a non-adherent absorbent pad that is bonded with a sterile film dressing to provide an advanced bandage that protects injuries such as acute cuts/abrasions and post-surgical trauma from exposure to contaminants. The non-adherent pad will not stick to the wounded area, allowing for unobstructed healing, fewer adjustments needed, and significantly decreased pain during removal. The waterproof material used allows patients to shower without removing the dressing, provided no areas on the film border are fully intact and not lifting without hindering necessary breathability that is crucial to the healing process of various types of wounds.
