The NewStar notebook mount, model NOTEBOOK-V100 is a universal notebook mount offering the notebook maximum functionality. This mount installs on any bracket using VESA75 or VESA100 hole pattern. Select a wall-, desk- or ceiling mount and install the notebook bracket using the VESA holes. In combination with ceiling-, desk-, or wall mounts this universal bracket becomes a powerful tool allowing tilt, swivel, rotation, height and depth adjustment depending on the selected mount. With VESA75 and VESA100 hole pattern this bracket can be used with most mounts from different brands. Select the best solution for your needs and combine it with NewStar's notebook mount. The mount has been arranged both for left - and right-handed users. Most notebooks are appropriate on this holder. By using an ergonomic mount neck- and back complaints can be avoided. Ideal for use in offices and on counters or in a reception area. Our example shows the NewStar flat screen desk mount model FPMA-D1010 (grommet) combined with NOTEBOOK-V100. All installation material is included with the product. What is VESA all about? So you may have heard the term “VESA” here and elsewhere and perhaps you’re wondering what it means? In simple terms, it’s the 4 holes on the back of most screens that the screen manufacturers and mount manufacturers have agreed between themselves as standard sizes. For obvious reasons, the holes on the smaller screens are closer together (ie 75x75mm), and the larger screens are further apart (ie 600x400mm). So if you don’t know what VESA you have, just measure the distance in between the pre drilled 4 holes on the back of your screen. Typically up to about 55” screen sizes, the hole pattern tend to be square – ie 75x75mm, 100x100mm, 200x200mm, etc. IMPORTANT note: MOST screens have VESA holes but very rarely there are some models that don’t come with them (tend to be the cheaper models across some brands). For these situations, refer to Newstar product code FPMA-VESANON as an adaptor to convert these models to VESA 75x75 and 100x100mm. That’s it, you now know most of what you need to know about VESA.
