• Playing as Mods and Dissidents, two teams of players will give clues and break codes in an attempt to stay one step ahead of each other and determine the future of society. Team Dissident will use creative, coded clues in conversation to communicate the target hacking Locations to each other, without giving anything away to Team Moderator. Meanwhile, Mods are always listening, using their code database to foil the Dissidents’ plans and catch them in the Hack
• Inside the Box's Core Series games balance accessible and challenging gameplay with deeply immersive settings and themes to give players a way to explore, escape and contemplate in a fresh new way with each game

Playing as Mods and Dissidents, three to six players will give clues and break codes in an attempt to stay one step ahead of each other and determine the future of society. Your country, 2029. The population lives in an augmented-reality bubble, policed by the Modnet corporation and their network of citizen Moderators, and shielded from the crumbling dystopia around them by rose-coloured filters. The deluxe edition of the NewSpeak core game includes the Rated and Sabotage expansions, as well as featuring a foiled effect on the cover. In the Rated Expansion, navigate the precarious world of social ratings with Dissident Player ratings and Location ratings, adding another element to the code-breaking challenge. Don’t forget - keep your rating high! In the Sabotage Expansion, expand your Dissident team to incorporate up to 8 players. While your Dissident team may be larger, there may be traitors amongst you - seeking to secretly communicate with the Moderators to undermine your revolutionary efforts. PLEASE NOTE: Location #9 (The Neighbourhood) is a misprint and has the Moderator image on both sides.
