Product Description Ferramol snail grain is a very attractive bait for all plant-damaging nudibranches. The active ingredient iron III phosphate causes a reliable stop to feed the snails after bait absorption, which leads to the protection of the cultivated plants. Unlike other active ingredients, there are no mucus secretions on the beds and paths. The snails retreat to their hiding places after bait eating and die. Therefore, only in exceptional cases you will find dead snails on the beds. The success of the Ferramol* treatment can be seen solely from the diminishing food damage. Unabsorbed bait grains break down into iron and phosphate over time. These two plant nutrients also occur naturally in the soil and are absorbed by the plants. Directions When infestation begins or when the first feeding damage becomes visible, spread evenly between the cultivated plants. The application is best done in the fresh evening hours, when the snails leave their hatches. Ferramol snail grain should be spread broadly throughout the bed threatened by snails. In case of severe infestation, the adjacent beds in which the snails treat themselves to withdraw. Do not scatter ferramol in heaps or just ring-shaped around some plants. If the bait is eaten completely or partially the next day, it must be sprinkled. In this way, the newly added snails are also captured. If the soil is dry, the treated area should be watered briefly once. The body pellets absorb water and are more attractive. In case of strong snail pressure, sprinkle beds directly after planting. If the floor surface is very coarse, it is recommended to smooth the floor as much as possible. This prevents the bait from disappearing in the ground crevices and thus is no longer reached by the snails. Up to 4 applications are approved by the regulatory authority.
