Advantages of the Hypertonic Solution: Research shows that Hypertonic (2.7%) or more concentrated solution may help reduce congestion better than isotonic (0.9%) solution. this is because a more concentrated salt solution will draw more water out of the congested tissue. it reduces swelling and opens up the nasal passages and sinus openings to allow better drainage. it is possible that you may experience temporary burning or stinging with the Hypertonic solution. if this persists, please use our Neilmed Isotonic Saline spray or Nasa Mist All In One Saline Spray 177mL. Nasa Mist is designed for single user to reduce the risk of contamination. Do not completely block or occlude nasal passage during use to avoid any pressure in the nose or ears. Ingredients USP grade purified water, sodium chloride (27mg/ml) & Sodium bicarbonate (up to 3mg/ml) to adjust pH. Directions To moisturize and lubricate dry nasal passages, insert nozzle into nostril and press till adequate solution is sprayed and moisture is restored. Use as often as needed.
