It can remove particles and sediments, impurities and dust from the water. It is often used to protect downstream water treatment systems. (Sediment filter, ceramic filter and activated carbon filter are not washable and must be changed every 6 months (DIN 1988). To ensure a constant filtering efficiency, the lifetime of the filter cartridge should not exceed 8000 L (depending on the input water).
