The name of this plant is derived from its fruit, which have large woody hooks – designed to disperse seed – which can occasionally cause irritation to livestock after becoming lodged in the mouth, feet or hooves. The part used for medicinal purposes is the swollen secondary root. Each JointEeze film-coated tablet contains 300mg of dry extract from Devil’s Claw root (Harpagophytum procumbensD.C. and/or H. Zeyheri L. Decne radix) equivalent to 1050-1500mg of Devil’s Claw root. Indications Traditionally used for relief of Backache, Joint ache & Rheumatic pain Ingredients One film coated tablet contains 300mg of extract (as dried extract) from Devil's Claw root (Harpagophytum procumbens D.C. and/or H.zeyheri L. Decne radix), (equivalent to 1050-1500mg of Devil's Claw root). Tablet core – calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, cellulose microcrystalline, crosscarmellose sodium, silica colloidal hydrated, magnesium stearate; Coating – lecithin, croscarmellose sodium, glucose monohydrate, sodium citrate, dextrin. Directions 1 tablet 3 times daily after food. You must consult a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 weeks.
