Nasturtium Climbing Mixed is a vigorous and quick growing climber, perfect for long lasting summer colour. This variety is perfect for growing over walls or covering fences, trellis, and obelisks. Producing frilly blooms that are produced over the summer in a bright colour range including bicolour. Culinary note: The peppery flavour of the leaves and colourful flowers will enrich salads and the un-ripened seeds can used like capers delicious combined with cream cheese or butter in canapes. Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower. Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sowing: Sow 20mm (3/4in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Growing: Thin out young plants to 23cm (9in) apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established.
