An excellent value ambidextrous spear point marking knife from Narex. The blade of the Narex marking knife is made from high carbon manganese vanadium steel for increased toughness to cope with the shallow intersecting bevel angles. Supplied honed and ready to use, with a turned, stained and varnished hornbeam handle, and brass ferrule. A marking knife produces a definite registration mark that can be felt with the tip of a chisel when making the final paring cut or seen when planing to thickness.
