Product description There are two types of Peppermint oil that have that instantly recognisable scent of mint, Peppermint Arvensis and Peppermint Piperita. Arvensis, also known as mentha arvensis, corn mint or wild mint, has a much higher menthol content than Piperita. Extremely popular in aromatherapy, this powerful, refreshing oil is frequently used for its stimulating and awakening aroma. Often used to boost concentration and awaken the senses. Peppermint Arvensis is super versatile and it blends well with many other essential oils. How to Use: Dilution: Peppermint Arvensis has an extremely powerful and penetrating scent so just bare this in mind when diffusing or making your own products. Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, 1ml of essential oil (approx. 20 drops) to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of Peppermint Arvensis to your diffuser or burner and experience the energising and reviving scent of Peppermint Arvensis for yourself. Massage: Make your own reviving massage oil blend by combining Peppermint Arvensis with a carrier oil such as Apricot Kernel (#204) and Rosemary (#108), Grapefruit (#115) and Eucalyptus (#101) and wake up those aching muscles. Skincare: Ideal for use in your homemade beauty formulations particularly lip balms, body scrubs, cleansers, toners, body oils and hair treatments. Haircare: Add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner for an icy blast in the shower. Ingredients Mentha arvensis Directions Extraction: steam distillation of the fresh, flowering parts of Mentha Arvensis. DILUTION: Field mint oil has a very strong, penetrating fragrance. Dilute it with a percentage of 1% (1 ml / approx. 20 drops for 100 ml base oil). Do not apply undiluted to the skin. For use on the body or in the bath a dilution of up to 3% can be used. Aromatherapy: Add a few drops to an oil burner or aroma diffuser and experience the refreshing and revitalising scent of field mint. Massage: It has a cooling effect on the skin and is therefore ideal as a massage additive. Mix it with a base oil and other essential oils for a stimulating and revitalising massage oil. SKIN CARE Great for making homemade lip balms, facial waters, body scrubs, facial cleansers, body oils and hair care products. It has an invigorating and balancing effect and is therefore ideal for oily skin. Hair Care: Field mint restores dull, dull and dull hair to shine. Add a few drops to your shampoo.
